"Me: Excuse me, George, what the **bleep** are you talking about?

"George: I want to know what it will take to keep you quiet.

Of course Pell denies this... and I'm wondering how they will get to the truth of it.

If it is true then it is appalling.

I personally knew a man (who has now sadly passed) who was at Bindoon in Western Australia.  I helped type up a statement for him many years ago.  It was just horrible what he suffered.

I am glad that this enquiry is taking place.

Gee this is going to be a tough one. Cardinal George Pell......mmmmmm, I wonder what religion he might be. Does he cleave to Cheondoism? I don't think so. How 'bout Mazdakism; does he dabble in that? No he doesn't. Is he a fan of the Unification Church? Hell no. It turns out he is a RC without anyone mentioning that fact. It could be that his title - cardinal - gave us a clue. Or maybe we already knew he was with the RC movement. Nobody had to mention his religion because the eBay clerisy are well informed and knew it from the start.

OK I hear you,  but there is a  public royal commission going on right now and of course people will have opinions  as

more is revealed.  I'm not commenting on the Catholic religion per se as many other religions have their own skeletons in the

closet, but right now it is the Catholic personnel who are under scrutiny.

It may have escaped your notice but Catholicism is not the only thing the perpetrators mentioned in the OP have in common. Nobody has mentioned that either - are we to take it as assumed that it was that common element that made them paedophiles?

and realised I had no need to read on. The circumambient gloom surrounding George Pell Go To Hell has been playing out for a few years now. Are others involved? Did I deny they were?

Yes, he did make a statement of denial, almost immediately. It will be interesting to see what he sys about the minutes of the meeting he attended which discussed moving Ridsdale.  If he is so forgetful, and was so forgetful for so many years how could he possibly be competent in his current and past jobs?
