Or annul any marriage that has not produced a child within a certain time frame.

What about the child at show and tell who tells the story of Daddy who bashed Mummy last night until she was bleeding, in your eyes that's OK because Mummy is female and Daddy is male.

I should point out, I have no stance on marriage, gay or otherwise.

I am neutral, if faced with voting yes or no to gay marriage, I would not vote.

Oh please!  There are so many variations on what constitutes a family these days, I'm sure the kids wouldn't bat an eye.  Their bigoted, homophobic parents/grandparents may be a different story perhaps. I'm with the kids on this one.

Well, that's it then, done and dusted.  poddster can't see any reason for it, ipso facto it is not necessary.   As for the "show and tell" comment, are you for real ???  Is this the sort of line the anti-gay marriage folk come up with ?  Is that the best they/you can do ?

I am for Gay marriage.. 

Can I please get you to read an article that might help some people understand why others are against gay marriage? 

And also to add that I listened to a man on ABC National last night and he was talking about how science has helped people overcome their prejudices.. from people thinking that  blacks should be slaves and that black and white should not be married... through science and education minds were able to be changed. 

Education and time will make Gay marriage part of everyday life... but to change some peoples minds you need to let them know that their fears are heard but not always correct. 

I know many people that have said that all gay men are peadophiles.. something we need to fear... and it is often because they heard stories like this..

They equate being gay to being an abuser... they need education to understand that is not the case... when you can show them that men like these are predators and not gay then you will have success. 

The guy I heard talk last night said that it was once translated from the bible that black and white could not marry... those ideals were changed over time... I also think that in years the teachings that being gay is wrong according to god will also be changed ... 

I changed my mind through education .... others can also have a change of mind..

My kids had 3 daddies and 3 mummies and hated them all.

They only wanted me and spent their whole childhood competing for my attention.

Why could kids that have only either or 2 of each not be better adjusted especially as they may love each other better, that would be a normal way for a kid to grow up with 2 loving parents whatever their sex.
