This angers me. They were not bullied into anything. People posted on their page that they will not be buying their products while they are halal certified. That is our right as consumers to choose what to buy and there is no law saying we cant let businesses know this.
I bought a frozen pizza once and it was rubbish (more rubbish then frozen pizzas usually are). I let the company know and told them i would not buy their products again. Whats wrong with that?
The Fleurieu Milk and Yoghurt Company wrote this on their fb page
""I can assure you there is no gelatin at all in our yoghurt. The only reason for our certification was to supply emirates airlines as they give you no choice. We will push to prove the fact that we don't need to be certified and try to continue supplying them but the chances are minimal."
Emirates gave them "no choice". Why was the word bully not thrown around then?
