Oh dear, it appears there isn't going to be a sausage sizzle or cake stall at my local polling place   What about yours?

No, nothing near me either although I have already sent my postal vote so it would not affect me anyway.

I hope all these organisers have checked out the requirements for sausage sizzles, cake stalls etc.

You are not allowed to be within a certain distance of the entrance to the polling place, so if the polling place is close to a main road etc there may well be nowhere to have a stall.  You are not allowed to obstruct the voters in any way.

i had a look at the map and it appears there is only one location in my electorate that will have a (halal) sausage sizzle.
