Do you think it is about time eBay had a close look at "Report Button Abuse"?
Some posts that have 'earned' slaps have been for smilies, words like, ..it, common denominator, maturity, Ranga, befuddlement...... and the list goes on and on.
I am sure everyone can add a few of there own that have been slapped, not because they violated board policy but because someone was bored and thought it was "fun" to press the button.

It is interesting that some know that posters are using multiple IDs and are using them to report with. How is it that they are privy to such information?

Frankly I'm getting fed up with some of the people on these boards. They are not people I would normally associate with. Some are so base I feel sick even reading their posts & their ideas.
As for the trolls, stalkers & id winklers, every time a light is shone on them they start with the multiple id scam to take the heat off themselves. That few on here know who they are.

I think I mentioned earlier on in this thread what i think of zero id's. there's something very cowardly about people hiding behind new id's to have a go at someone, or use their advantage of Id making to bait and report others.
what do you think OP & CV? I also wish the mods would take the time to not only read a removed post, but to read the posts around it so they can see the context

Winklers, I've not heard of that before.

I dedicated a song that violated NO posting rules to the OP and couldn't be considered interpersonal by anyone other than the OP. Still ended up returned to sender. Claims not to be a bper....Right! And the answer will ALWAYS be ONE also. 😐
You're thanking the 'sender'.

I think the trolls who are really out to harm BP this way.
Poster abc disagrees with poster def, so the troll BP's both and that makes abc and def blame each other.
Nasty little tool in the wrong hands. X-(
Which is why I suggested in an earlier post that eBay mods need a red flag system to record too many reports from single id's.

I have a 0 id & I only have this one for posting on the boards. I would be mad to post with my selling id because of the trolls, stalkers, pb'ers & anybody else who just feels aggrieved, their life is not as good as they expected or some other spiteful reason they're on here. I was advsed by ebay when I first decided to have another id that a posting id is perfectly acceptable.
Tarring 0 id'ers with being the serial bp'ers is another tool used by the bp'ers, just another reason to continue with their troll like behaviour.
I have said before, if you bp then your id should be shown to all on the boards something like, " so & so id reported this post".
This is the only solution to the anonymity of reporting that is ruining the forums. It would put a stop to the group bp'ers who pm each other to drive an id off.

My opinion of the trolls & stalkers on here is that they lead a desolate life, like to come on here & cause trouble & are a sorry sad group who live vicariously through these type of forums.
This type of behaviour is akin to twitter, where they can say anything, no matter how reprehensible it is, & follow other trolls on there & get away with it.
They should be exposed for their actions & ebay should ban serial bp'ers.

Agreed.

If you reply to a hostile poster, put your side of the debate up, what happens?? they report you.
I wonder what all the button pushers are going to do when there's only themselves & their ilk to talk to.....to quote Miss Gillard....boring!!!!!!!
