Do you think it is about time eBay had a close look at "Report Button Abuse"?
Some posts that have 'earned' slaps have been for smilies, words like, ..it, common denominator, maturity, Ranga, befuddlement...... and the list goes on and on.
I am sure everyone can add a few of there own that have been slapped, not because they violated board policy but because someone was bored and thought it was "fun" to press the button.

I haven't been reported for a week. It's a record.

if one ID per person was enforced for the boards, there would hardly be anyone left

Should that matter? That is only how it should be and no NARU's either. Way beyond time for a level playing field.

Revise that. The troll stalker has struck again.

Is it someone else's fault that you choose to type the words you choose to type?

What I post is not contravening any of CS values. It upsets some because they can't take any critique of the Labor party.
This in itself is not grounds for reporting but it is a way of shutting some posters up & driving them off.
This thread is the aftermath of all the spiteful reporting by a certain group on here.

Ok, so the insults you choose to type to posters who vote differently to you, are somebody else's fault? I'm just trying to understand how it works, when other people are to blame our our own choices, because I'd like to appeal a few based on that argument.

I just hope that whichever party is elected on September 14 is able to walk on water, cos only then may we be able to escape so many political threads and so many opposing views causing so much angst and hand wringing amongst our posters.
Not sure if I've just been oblivious to it all before, but lately these boards seem to be one gigantic weeing competition and a determination of who wears the biggest shoes.
