Do you think it is about time eBay had a close look at "Report Button Abuse"?

Some posts that have 'earned' slaps have been for smilies, words like, ..it, common denominator, maturity, Ranga, befuddlement...... and the list goes on and on.

I am sure everyone can add a few of there own that have been slapped, not because they violated board policy but because someone was bored and thought it was "fun" to press the button.

Never give up voicing your opinion, as long as it is on the issue at hand and not at the person who presents the issue.

In far too many cases people who oppose a presented view tend to attack the messenger.

Let's debate the issue under discussion.

True poddster, but as certain personalities are causing the problem (probably no more than five contenders), if we concentrate on bringing these id's to eBay's attention, the whole mass reporting onslaught will immediately cease.
