Do you think it is about time eBay had a close look at "Report Button Abuse"?
Some posts that have 'earned' slaps have been for smilies, words like, ..it, common denominator, maturity, Ranga, befuddlement...... and the list goes on and on.
I am sure everyone can add a few of there own that have been slapped, not because they violated board policy but because someone was bored and thought it was "fun" to press the button.

Even more important now that eBay is going to rehash the boards.
I have sent a link to this thread to the nods 🙂

Here's another post for the Poddster....

Poddy, there will be no change on these boards until the current crop of bp'ers move on & infest some other site with their hatreds.
The bullying we have seen on the boards in the last few days is appalling & they have managed to sterilize the boards until only the most mundane rot is posted & passed off as comment.
Even the most benign thread is now targeted by the luvvies, they show themselves for the bullies they are.
Infantile behaviour is only acceptable from children but on here it's der rigueur for luvvies.

Keep alerting the mods every time you get a vindictive malicious report.and keep this on the front page and eventually something will be done
60% would like something done.
I have made some suggestions on how the malicious reporting can be minimised, everyone else should too 🙂
