Do you think it is about time eBay had a close look at "Report Button Abuse"?
Some posts that have 'earned' slaps have been for smilies, words like, ..it, common denominator, maturity, Ranga, befuddlement...... and the list goes on and on.
I am sure everyone can add a few of there own that have been slapped, not because they violated board policy but because someone was bored and thought it was "fun" to press the button.

I think liveworld moderators should review their policy of allowing naru posters on the eBay boards. Why do they allow it, when the eBay policy is so clear?

I think it should be against the rules to bump your own thread. There is a reason this thread is falling to the bottom of the page:-D

Poddster, your OP is like a magnet for those who do the reporting, lol! But they are kidding themselves if they believe their little button-pusher cliques have much effect. How pathetic of them to get joy from an effect they are not creating.
(and it's effect not affect as one poster wrongly attempted to correct an OP on another thread. Effect as in "to cause an effect." affect is in relation to those who adopt a mannerism or character that is false - I'm sure some of you can relate... 😉 )

I have been known to attract the type of person who's main objective in life is to get some weird satisfaction from reporting posts.
I guess it is like some sort of an anti-fan group that follow me around, I have often wondered why they do it.

I'll tell you one thing poddster, now I know the ones doing the reporting are so eager to see this thread fall to the bottom, I have a feeling once or twice a week, it'll bump its head on the ceiling 😉

You and I both 🙂

By the way I have requested the Mod team to take note of the IDs who report posts, I am sure they will sea a trend emerge.
The reply that I received was an acknowledgement that my email had been received and that is all, but you would hardly expect any other comment as they are always noncommital
