For all those who keep repeating that Prime Minister Gillard has not been the target of sexist attacks since she won the last election battle what do you call today's events?
First the Army.
Then the Tim is gay attack on Gillard.
Are you really ready to accept these behaviours as the norm for your daughters and sons?

Male sexism to women comes both from a position of power and a historical reality.

You know what? I'd hate to be your husband / partner .... because there's obviously no pleasing you.
There is no possible chance I would choose you as a partner.
Pleasing me is irrelevant to the sexism debate.

"There is no possible chance I would choose you as a partner."
I just KNEW you would say that.B-)
How do you know? Do you know me in real life? Do I know you?
Anyway, I have no time for this - I have more important things to do.

FN I can understand you supporting "mummy" albeit for whatever resonant/subconscious reasons, but remember she is in a political jungle which she fought hard (and was assisted by a few men) to in, and to become head of the pack.
Gender politics are a last resort, both when attacking, and also when used in the PM (poor (female) me) defence'
It is a pity that Gillard does not have the strength of character (or memory) to now realise the significance of this statement she made in 2010: "women do not think the same way as men"

"A federal Liberal MP has accused the mining industry of allowing itself to be "pussy-whipped" by Prime Minister Julia Gillard, according to media reports.
Don Randall made the comment during a Friends of Mining lunch at Parliament House on Wednesday, which was attended by about 50 coalition MPs and senators, the West Australian newspaper said on Friday.
Deputy Opposition Leader Julie Bishop, who attended the lunch, said she was not offended by Mr Randall's remark.
"I took it that he was talking about males who cower in the face of dominant women," she told the West Australian."
Julie's not very smart. Most women would be offended if they were accused of doing what Mr Randall accused the female Prime Minister of doing, especially doing it to an entire industry.
From the link provided in posts above Julie Bishop states:
"...and offensive language, vulgar language is unacceptable in any circumstance" .
Yet, a male federal Liberal MP accusing our female Prime Minister of pussy whipping an entire industry is ok, according to Julie Bishop.

You are really clutching at gender straws BLYG, considering the reference is from:
June 17, 2011
Perhaps it is not just Gillard who indulges in PM (precious me) bleating!

The nutjob seeks an answer to this question and attempts to answer it themselves by posting links to threads which are months old while the idiots stand around congratulating the nutjob on being an idiot.
