Sharing My Daughters Thoughts From An ICU Nurse

My Daughter posted this on FB yesterday.

I am in the USA and was unsure of which board to post this to.  An eBay.au member ask me to share this, so please excuse me if I posted on the wrong board.

I barely know what to say, it is so sad and tragic. Your daughter is a brave angel. I hope this virus goes away very soon.

i think the truly sad thing for those doctors and nurses in the USA is the leaders at the top, those they trust to make decisions in a crisis had their heads in the sand.

had they taken the darn virus seriously instead of playing political games many many lives may well have been saved.

the way the president (and his govt) has handled the whole situation looking at it from afar is a crime in my view.

to be at times calling it a hoax or a demorcrat fake news story, incredible

even now they look to blame anyone but themselves for the tragic place the USA finds itself in.

many countries around the world went into early action, closing borders, ordering citizens to stay indoors, washing hands ect

these countries are suffering much less than the USA

those on the front lines fighting to save lives, they are heroes

the politicians are an embarrasment.

In keeping with the spirit of this thread - politics should perhaps - be left aside.

McDougle, thank you so much for sharing this with us.

The sheer bravery and stamina of all the medical teams (all over the world) dealing with it uplifts us all, and I for one, thank them from the bottom of my heart for what they are doing ....  Heart HeartHeart

I do.    It is so yawningly boring when some people can't get off their rickety soap box where they just have to spout on ad nauseum   about their political views. over and over and over again.

Thank you Mcdougle,  your daughter sounds truly compassionate
