I can remember her on the Shirley Temple Storybook TV show.  She had the appearance of a princess to me on her pedestal.  The most beautiful dress.  And it was in black and white as I remember.  

My mother grew up with her at the movies.  And I have Mum's book of Shirley Temple from the 40's (somewhere). 

I remember watching some of here movies a few years back.  The staircase dance was magic.  She truly was a talented little girl.

She was a diplomat later on, wasn't she?

I use to love watching her movies when I was a child.

I love her movies too, and do you remember her singing and dancing with Mr. Bo Jangles?  sheer magic.

She had cancer many years ago and did a lot of work for the cancer organisations, and yes, a diplomat as I remember.

What a full life she had.

RIP Shirley Temple.  I loved her movies too when I was growing up.  My favourite is the one she did with Jane Withers who played the brat.  Jane Withers was a favourite too.

The movie was called Bright Eyes.
