Why put security tag things through both sleeves of dresses that make it almost impossible to try the dress on and can also damage the product - fgs there is also a security tag on the side anyway - if shoplifting is a problem EMPLOY MORE STAFF - that is the most effective way to limit theft.

thanks

rant over.

Anyway, this thread was funny but I'm out of here.  I'll see if I can find a parking spot at Bunnings.

Am, are the markets still on in your neck of the woods? If yes, do you know when the next one is?

The Sunday one? Doesn't look like they are having an extra one for the Christmas/New Year period, the next one is on Sunday 18 January.

There have been NO traffic jams on the highway near my town this hol break due to the double lanes being opened in part of the new highway a bit further south.

Still be a few years before Albion PK & Berry highway bypass is done though.

Am, shame, I was hoping this weekend. We do pop down to Berry sometimes but if we are going further South we use the road that goes through Gerringong, so we skip Berry. Saw somewhere that the new road will cut Berry in half but I don't know if that's true.

We went for a drive to Berry the other day, and tried to work out where the new highway will go... there will be houses close to the south end of town that will be close to the new highway.. not an improvement for them,  compared to the village feel they have now. Possibly will be like cutting Berry in half.

That was good.  Bunnings wasn't nearly as hectic as I thought it would be.  It was quite pleasant and I got exactly what I was after.

I went to Bunnings late afternoon yesterday, very quiet in there, as were the rest of the shops.

I once bought a bag in Sydney, they did remove something but as I was walking out of the store it beeped.  I did not realise it was me, there were other people walking out in the same time.  I went straight to the airport and home to Melbourne, but next time I went shopping I found out that this particular alarm thingy sets off the beep in other stores as well.  Of-course, I did not bring the receipt with me.  Had to go home get the receipt, and then find a store that would take it off for me.  i was furious, called the store in Sydney, and really had a go at them.  They send me $100 cheque for the inconvenience  🙂
