I have a friend who is legally blind. She went to a meeting/support group thingy for blind people a while ago (so most of the people there were blind, complete with Guide Dogs) and the organizers handed around an attendance list for the attendees to sign and write some details on.....

Nope it wasn't in brail, just normal pen and paper on a clip board....

We laugh about it now, but at the time it was very distressing for some.
