I doubt the parents expected the babies to live, but perhaps it is easier to let nature to take it's course than live with the fact that you have killed babies.
p.s. I am not anti-abortion

these babies did not ask to be born with congenital defects, no matter how they looked they were living breathing innocent human beings and deserve to be spoken about with dignity and respect, not to be referred to as a freak or it or thing or any other name any ignorant person wants to bestow on them

There was no chance at all
If there had been a chance that the babies would have survived into adulthood - or even into childrhood - I could understand you feeling the parents should not have submitted them to the ordeal their lives would have been. However, since, in your own words, there was no chance, then I fail to see your problem. The babies did not sufffer, they did not know they were severely deformed, they lived for two weeks and were greatly loved, and I have no doubt they touched the lives of all who cared for them in a very special way. What is so terrible about that?
And how does the socio-economic standing of their parents have any bearing on any of this? If the parents had been affluent professionals would that somehow have altered the ethics of their decision?

I know this situation is different to the babies in the OP, but here are two babies that the world probably sees as "deformed" or "abnormal".
They are 16 here, but they are over 21 now, I think and have even had their own reality TV show - lots more about them and others on You Tube. "Babies who should never have been born", according to some.

The names of the girls which are the subject of this thread are "Hope" and "Faith".

I would do it with no hesitation at all.
Just like I have done.
no qualms, no guilt, no regret.
effectively killing another human being- not in my book.
I have no idea why anyone would give birth to a two headed baby when they didnt have to. besides what Geogia is saying.
have a nice day everyone.

Just let the little babies Rest in peace, if you have not been in the same position as the parents you do not know what you would do.
Does not matter if the parents were rich or poor, pain is still the same.
