I thought it was the Q and A thing which was debatable about what she 'could have done'.
It would seem some of her own party do not like what she did to a former libeal member and his children.
Sophies pot of gold, was a man by the name of Colin Howard, a prominent and popular Liberal Party figure from last century. If Colin was Sophies age today, then Sophie would be 3 years old, such is the age difference. Sophie formed a strange relationship with Colin which resulted in her receiving huge financial gains, as well as being directly responsible for her being in the position she is today politically. The downside to it all, is that Colin’s children became completely shut out of his life until the very end, allegedly by his own wishes, and also of course shut out of the will. When Colin Howard died in a nursing home on September 2nd this year, he died alone.

I have never really paid any attention to her..................but obviously she appears to be disliked for serious reasons. The Q & A thing, it was odd but some people don't know how to react or are slow to react in emergencies.

There are far more then these two who want to see the back of her.

Senior Coalition figures have expressed concerns about the health and stability of Liberal heavyweight Sophie Mirabella after extraordinary scenes in the House of Representatives late last night that saw her expelled from the House for 24 hours

She told one of her senior colleagues to go take his alzheimers medication. She refused to acknowledge the apology to the stolen generations and behaved poorly over NDIS.

I am in the electorate of Indi. I do not like Ms Mirabella, didn't vote for her. Also I didn't know anything about the OP issue.

Oh My Goodness!
Ms Mirabella does appear to be rather more unsavoury than the New's Corp people would want us to know!
How embarassment. for the former Miss Panopoulos

Poor dear is 1449 votes behind Cathy McGowan.
It must be horrid for her knowing she is not liked in her electorate.

Do you think they give that any thought? about not being liked?
I suspect they don't care really.

I wanted to expand on my previous post. I believe that Sophie alienated most of her electorate, didn't give a stuff about the country areas. The two times she came to my town to 'visit' she spent the majority of the time on the phone. She promises to turn up to meetings of community groups and will then cancel. She is rude and has lost the respect of many of her constituents.
As for comparing Julia Gillard to Colonel Gaddafi, that is totally unacceptable. Comparing any of our politicans to a dictator is reprehensible.
Apologies for spelling mistakes, I can't seem to get spellcheck to work on my tablet.

Still 15% of the votes still to count, and the result has changed from Safe Independent Retain to Likely Independent Retain.
