Not real worried for us yet BUT I'm quiet worried about how much media kids are viewing these days. As a child of the 70s I remember vividly being terrified by the Cold War and that Ragun had his finger on the button. I had nightmares of burning children, pictures I'd seen of hiroshima (sp)?

If you have young children PLEASE be mindful of what they see and make sure you reassure them.

ditto.....mindfull of what could come from this.

I am stunned at how much my son knows about the North- South Korean situation....

I asked him how he knew all this (during one of our discussions)

Turns out he plays an online game that has lots of South Korean on it... he talks to them daily and knows exactly what is going on...

I think it is closer to home than most of us realise... our kids have an exposure to people around the world and often know what is happening in another country than we do.

Cats, my kids are similar, They know more about it than I do & are pretty concerned about it.

The world would be a far better and much safer place if the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea (or at the very least Pyongyang) was replaced by a large radioactive crater. ๐Ÿ˜

So killing hundreds of thousands of INNOCENT people is a good thing is it?

My son seems reassured that the Americans will step in and make sure nothing happens... well that is the hope anyway...

But he is an aspie kid and thinks differently.... he tends to rationalise everything.

The noise and bluster are mainly for domestic consumption, and  are not to be worried about, not that the media are going to let it go so easily.

Agree with you 100% Monman.  One shouts they all shout, just like anywhere else where the mindset multitudes can't see or are given any reality due to constant brainwashing.
