I see the term used a bit .I thought the term meant different people who shared the same opinion.

Munchausen by internet can be bad for your health forum
As paraplegic blogger 'David Rose' is exposed as a hoax, here are some tips to recognise fake illness claims on support sites
Based on more than 100 cases of Munchausen by internet shared with me via my Munchausen website, I have arrived at a list of clues to the detection of false internet illness ...
1. The posts consistently duplicate material in other posts, in books or on health-related websites.
2. The characteristics of the supposed illness emerge as caricatures.
3. Near-fatal bouts of illness alternate with miraculous recoveries.
4. The claims are fantastic, contradicted by subsequent posts or flatly disproved.
6. There is feigned blitheness about crises that will predictably attract immediate attention.

On the topic of Munchausen by Proxy
I hate the label being thrown around even those who are deemed qualified to apply the term get it wrong. When people get it wrong the effect can be huge.I am concerned about the safety of children first and foremost. imo and sitting where I am sitting when 'labels' like that (which as some have mentioned can equate to child abuse in this Country) are falsely and ignorantly thrown around that is abuse.

Patchoo, I was trying to please others .This may be a more appropriate place to discuss the topic ?
Here is a bit of advice....
Stop trying to please others..
Learn to let things go... breathe and walk away.. it is much healthier for your soul. You do not need to please anyone on this forum.. trust me..

There have been quite a few revivals recently........
to avoid the "why did you bump your old thread, pm someone else to do it?
Az are you suggesting Iza private messages someone to revive her old threads....If yes, I suggest that is a bad idea. Don't expect anyone would like to receive such a message.
Very old revived threads revived by the original poster (whoever it is) generally says to me they are desperate to be seen and heard. Far better to start a new one IMO.

No one is using me. Going by comments in another thread me/myself/I felt this may be a better place to discuss the topic rather than a thread for a sick little girl.
Some don't want to be or won't be happy it seems no matter what others do.
It is not my job to make them happy .I do my best not to make people unhappy though.
My eldest son just did an assessment for some employment... He is AOK ...just ask him .
