I have an uncle living in Parkwood, Perth WA who has recently gone through treatment and is very tired. He is in his 80's and we would like to find someone who would like to make dinners for a week for him and his wife who is in her 90's. We would pay for this to be done and would ask for the meals to be delivered. Anyone in this area or know someone I could contact? We live in NZ...a bit far to send dinners!

I'm a tad concerned here. Could you contact the Hospital where your Uncle had his treatment and see if they can help. They often have Auxillary Services that can be relied upon in just these cases. + the folks are trustworthy and work with the Hospital.

Having lost my dear mother on her 94th Birthday, to Breast Cancer last year, l am never lost for words of praise for people like these wonderful ebayer's, who go the extra mile and are willing to help someone out.
I feel for the folks in NZ. and their concern to do something to help Uncle and Aunt in their time of need. Good on you ebayers, give yourself a well earned Gold Star. attic-case.
lt is sad today when we hear so much negative news, but good will always out shine and comeout ahead.

Also concerned about this request. Like others have suggested contact professionals in his local area
I think with OP living in NZ, they don't know about the options that are available in Perth. At least by making their post, people have steered them to the right areas

I know in NSW you can get assistance for a small fee from HAC services. Perhaps WA has a similar thing?

My main concern was the Safety of this Couple. I hope they ( the family ) scrutinise the applicants with a microscope. It could attract all sorts of Deadbeats. I hope they find a solution that will help them 🙂 🙂 🙂 I really feel for them.
