Something you didn't expect with a particular poster.

What things did you find contrary to what pre-conceived idea you had of a particular poster or something about them that really surprised you?

I was surprised to find out Elephant is a lot older than I thought.

Also surprised Icy is actually witty for a grandma.

I never saw that thread , if I had of I certainly wouldn't have condoned it.

people need to learn not to plaster their lives on the boards for all to see  as they never stop and think what it does to their families all too worried about serving their own gratification  of selfish attention seeking.

You can't condemn all the people posting on this thread for not caring about details of someone's children being posted etc, if they NEVER saw that thread, never knew it happened.

yeah true am3.....

we know of one person involved behind the scenes, I want to know the other person/s.

(We did not go to Burma. The refugee camps are on the Thai side of the border.

I can't put the charity here, as that would be seen as advertising which contravenes eBay rules.

You have however seen video footage of previous trips we have taken, use the information in those to search for the charity involved and also keep an eye out for the release of the latest trip once it is released online. It is in the editing stages now.

I trust that you won't release any details here, as it will identify not only one of my children, but also the school that they attend.)

You have identified the school .......by posting the info you have...... I suggest you delete these posts....I did pm you suggesting this.

this was my involvement.

I know that Az, and I do apologize that my poor wording choice has indicated otherwise. My intention was only to point out that you could verify that a link to the school's newsletter had been passed around.

Unlike others, I would not post private messages here. Why do you want to know?

so how come no one is mock horrified when a link to the newsletter of the school that my children attend was passed around and discussed here on CS?

I think it was azureline (apologies if I am wrong) who disclosed that and another poster gleefully posted information gleened from that newsletter on here.

Sheep the way you have posted this makes it sound as though Azureline posted the link to the newsletter. Azureline has said that she warned you about being sent the newsletter and advised removal of the thread

Big difference IMO.

seriously there is nothing sinister in people finding a newsletter or detials about your family. You identified your boys when you disclosed they were part of the choir..people know roughly where you live and there cannot be too many private schools in the area. Added to all the other details you have given out over your time here, I am not surprised that a determined person could track you down.

How many times has it been said on CS that it is unwise to divulge too much about private life?? And I am not just singling you out...there are many people who have been "stalked"in the past.

I didn't see the thread in question but I would have condemned anyone who brought children/family into a personal dispute. And despite what Lovetoday may think....even if it was a friend who was the guilty party.

But if you can honestly say...hand on heart...that you have never discussed another posters children/family, either on CS or behind the scenes....I will apologise

Crikey, I was addressing the poster who was asking for details.

Thank you for the apology.

That's the million dollar question, eh?

Well that and how they actually accessed the school portal.....

It's just ironic that their stalking actually confirmed what I was saying. MadCat was trying to make it look like the Mission Trips didn't even happen - but the link to the newsletter and then the poster reporting exerts from it proved that they did LOLOL
