Spam PayPal going around

Can anyone give me their email address for forwarding this to them.. I did use 'spam@paypal.com but it bounced.

The email does not use your name but tells you it is a receipt for something you have paid for...

then it says: Issues with this transaction?
If you belive this is an error please follow the link below to login to your paypal account.
On the next page, please complete the required details, then press the 'Cancel Payment' button to confirm. Your payment will be cancelled and the funds returned to your PayPal account.

If you receive something like this DON'T log in or they will have your log in details...

Anyone know their address?

There will be millions of those emails doing the rounds and really not worth reporting

Just remember never follow a link asking you to login

If its not addressed to you personally it is fake

Allays log in the way you normally do either by typing the address or your shot cut from favorites and then look for the message or check transactions

I don't report them anymore either. I get so many. It is always good to remind people not to open them though

That's what I thought too judy... there are always newbies who won't know and could be caught...

I did get this from PayPal ...

Thanks for forwarding that suspicious-looking email. You're right - it
was a phishing attempt, and we're working on stopping the fraud. By
reporting the problem, you've made a difference!
Identity thieves try to trick you into revealing your password or other
personal information through phishing emails and fake websites. To learn
more about online safety, click "Security Center" on any PayPal webpage.
Every email counts. When you forward suspicious-looking emails to
spoof@paypal.com, you help keep yourself and others safe from identity
theft.

Which is of course a standard reply, but nevertheless, it does emphasise that the phishing is ongoing, so no harm in reporting them ... and it only takes a minute ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't be fooled by believing that these emails don't address you by your correct name, they can sometimes, just don't log in from emails.
