The wheel won't spin for me so I am amusing myself reading further About page. Why Now? is good reading.

I like the candidate forum reports too.
I like that there are a broad range of writers and they talk to a broad range of candidates. If you notice a lack of Lib candidates it's because fewer have joined the forums or agreed to be interviewed.

I did find one story interesting so far, though. When you get a chance, have a read of the Please let us stay story from the above link.
The couple came to Aus around the same time as myself. I'm not quite following the story. They came on a tourist visa and stayed???

They must have done. I'm guessing they avoided applying in case they got the boot. It would only take a few deportation stories on the news to decide it would be safer to shut up. There was an amnesty (or 2) years ago for people to apply for residency. Maybe they came too late for them.
