Whinging about media, so tiresome. Labor cant blame media for hoisting itself on its own petard. No siree, they did it all by themselves. Robot tongue

And a vote for Mr Abbott is a vote for Mr Turnbull

.

What odds are Sportsbet quoting that as soon as the Libs win, Mr Turnbull will make a challenge for leadership ?

But Mr Abbott said "as for the bookies, I'd say more fool them".

"Some of you might remember I once worked for an opposition that was careering towards an inevitable victory and it didn't happen," Mr Abbott said.

"1993 is proof that there is no such thing as an unloseable election and I think this election is very, very tight. It's very, very tight."

The Coalition is leading in the opinion polls but Labor tracking has been showing that campaigning against the "cuts" is having an impact

a stunt from a company that is attempting to influence the election  as it knows it will enjoy open slather gambling with the coalition.

''The deal values Darwin-based Sportsbet, a company that Tripp bought out of bankruptcy in 2005 for $250,000, at $338m.''

the 1.5 million payout is an investment in Abbott,  money well spent.

i wonder what xenephon and wilkie think of these underhand attempts to influence the poll.

This action is to influence how people vote. People like to follow the mob so the more they can convince people that everyone is voting LNP the more people will vote LNP.

The LNP announce they will free up the gambling rules and Rupert's buddy rewards them.

Here we have people celebrating what is in effect the attempted sabotage of our democracy.

It seems we have a bunch of people who want a single ruling right wing party.

I find it quite strange that some people want an upper and lower house majority held by a single party for years to come.
