Does anybody here use it?? I have recently discovered that any transactions I make require a secure code authorization, which entails a text or call to my home or mobile phone......
today, it won't let me do it.....
I had never seen this before, did not request it.....and the queue is long to enquire by phone.
I just did it twice and twice it told me to log out etc. Then the call came? Grrrr!!!!
any ideas?

no, I know with the Bendigo bank, I have to use a code key 4 times for the one transaction.
it is obviously a new thing.with yours az.
mine cost 30.00 for the key.

Go to your nearest St George Bank and ask for it to be sorted. I have it with my CU and I have a little thing I have to enter the numbers from but only once to log on.
It's another security measure to try and stop the internet fraud, if it works it's great and I have to change my password every 3 months for added security.

Thanks, very annoying though. I just did our household banking and didn't need a code? different account though.
I thought maybe because I was paying small amounts from my own account?

Ubank, and commonwealth bank now use a secure code sent by txt for transfers, it seems to be the way they are all going to prevent fraud.

All done now, thank goodness, very frustrating though. Some warning would have been nice, I thought I was out of money!

I use the St George on line banking, including one account dedicated to ebay and 2 business accounts. I logged in this morning without any problems...just the usual account number, PIN and Password.
I just tried my OH's logins with the same accounts...again no problems.
I don't use any of the auto features that are available and have not signed up for any of the extra security features.

I didn't sign up for anything, I have had this same account for over 40 years but been online with it for about 8 yrs now. I am going to the bank tomorrow to ask what is going on.
I paid the household accounts as usual and then tried to pay the small under $10 amount from the same account and it then asked for the secure code.

my sister has this on her account.. I have a similar service... if a transaction looks unusual they will actually call me within 60 seconds to confirm I made that transaction.
I also have a key code generator and it is on my keyring so I always have it on me.
