how do i get it to jump to the last post read?

i have that option ticked but it keeps taking me to the first page of threads.

Just testing, as I very seldom post, but most certainly an avid reader...not a lurker nor a button pusher– just wanted to see if I can navigate the “so called” New Improved Boards. You never know, one day I may have something intelligent to say.
