This thread is for the specific purpose of checking on milestone information (quotations and videos rather than table-form/spreadsheet/database information that fit better into k1ooo's thread), and responses by representatives from our government, CHOs, etc.

It's official: Australia has passed the 70% double dose vaccination rate.

It is a key milestone in the national reopening plan.

More than 33 million vaccine doses have been distributed nationwide, and the first-dose rate nationally has reached 85.5 percent.

New South Wales and the ACT have already passed the 80 percent vaccination milestone, and Victoria and Tasmania are expected to reach 70 percent double-dosed within two days.❞

A tremendous achievement, but of course there is still some patchiness. We'll have to see some good efforts to correct misinformation, to provide solid health information, and to take the vaccine to the people who are not able or not willing to access it easily by themselves.

How many shots - does 4 make it better than 3 - does 5 make it better than 4. etc etc

Think I've had 3 - then gave up.

Found the easiest thing to do was if not necessary - don't go out.

 I had 4 shots (not alcohol... lol) & never had Covid.

In 2022 I got out of my recliner & faceplanted on the carpet.

Took me an hour to get up again.

Being smart I then went outside for some fresh air & promptly face planted onto concrete.

That played havoc with my good looks.

This time I couldn't get up.

Son & heir found me when he called round.

3 ambulance rides , 2 hospitals & plane ride ended up in RPA.(not an experience I want to repeat).

Was told I had 2 heart attacks.

Cardiologist said I should perform a bypass but your arteries are so badly blocked I don't think you would survive... here have some stents & that should give you a few more years... and take this basket of pills every day.

Another plane ride back home & here I am to annoy some more people.

Btw those aircraft are fantastic... 5 stars ... would fly with them again.
