Well, you see, Zali is well aware of the risks of the fires and the science behind all the climate change data so is sensible enough to wear a mask.  

Abbott, on the other hand, doesn't believe in climate change so he's fine.

He's been doing it for years. Steggall hasn't. Which is the problem with the OP trying to draw something from their respective photos.

I certainly wouldn't want untrained people trying to put bushfires out. Unless they're protecting their own properties, which is a personal choice, they would probably cause more harm due to inexperience.
