If ever there was a person who should never been accepted on the Block, its Steve.
A bludger with a chip on his shoulder. I feel sorry for Chantelle and even more sorry the twins were stuck with them.

The bathroom queens have well and truly lost their crowns.
And frankly, if I was Fiona and Steve (the clients) I would have told the whole lot to leave the site early on in the piece due to their behaviour .
The producers, in selecting Chantelle/Steve, got the right pair for some sensationalism. Fiona wasn't "fiery" enough for the "interpersonal" rallies that are part of the show.

Steve O’Donnell and Chantelle Ford win The Block: Fans v Faves
Steve O’Donnell and Chantelle Ford have shocked TV viewers by hammering their more experienced rivals to win The Block: Fans v Faves.
The Victorian couple silenced the doubters when their Albert Park Dux apartment sold for a whopping $2.47 million — $636,000 above reserve.

Ooh I wish I had've watched that, I'd have loved to see the look on the twin's faces
I really thought Kyal and Kayla had it in the bag.

I was totally shocked and appalled that they won. The twins should have won hands down and the boys should have come in second.
As much as I liked the super K's they made a huge error in that extra wide hall that stole so much floor space from the living area.
They were all winners in the end $600,000 upwards each is amazing.
Steve and Chantell were a disaster but I think they made the right decisiion going last, the fever had taken over.
I likeed Chantelle, she was a real worker up until the end when Steve broke her spirit.

I too, was shocked at the winning team. Maybe the big bed on the terrace was the seller.Or the nib wall in the bathroom. The Blockinator must be apoplectic (sp?)
The reserve prices must have been more realistic than those set in the past (where a few couples didn't meet reserve?).
They were huge returns for the huge amount of work carried out by them and their workmen/women.
There was mention of some tidying up by a crew of tradesmen at the Dux during the final neighbour challenge. I wonder if the nib wall/basin area was "adjusted" to bring it up to a realistic high standard in Chantelle/Steve apartment. And the required railing installed on the twin's terrace must have been installed for the Safety Requirements.
All in all, well done to all of them. I imagine, at least, the super K's will attain some real clients for fixer/uppers work in their hometown area.
And with "renovation" long weekend coming up (Easter) the advertisers should make a motza especially in the paint department.
