They'll wreck your teef!
Visited my dentist this morning for a check up and I asked him why just the gums above my top teeth were red and inflamed. It turns out all the mineral water (I thought it was good for me 😐 )I drink every day, even during the night, contains acid or something. I was drinking up to litre a day. The same goes for juice too and of course soft drinks.
It's just plain water for me now. :_|

I wonder if that applies to champagne?

Coke DOES rot teeth, if people are addicted to it and drink excessive amounts of it every day.

I can't believe any person over 5 years old does NOT know that fizzy drinks, bottled juice etc rots your teeth.

my husband drinks 6-7 litres of diet mineral water every day............
Diet mineral water? The manufacturer has turned water into gold with a diet version!

My husband has serious kidney disease and has to drink as much as he can every day.
He finds it hard to drink that much water.
His Diabetic Educator put us onto Waterfords diet natural mineral water.
They often have it on special for $1 a bottle............and it is low in salt too.
So for us it is win win.

And Monman knows more (cause he can google) than a well respected, experienced, doctor of dentistry.
*rolls eyes*

I think you're safe with beer 😉
Actually I have no idea but I've stopped drinking mineral water and I'm sticking to plain water. If my red inflamed gums above my top teeth settle down then I'll know my dentist was right.
PS I was drinking a litre a day.
Do you drink a litre of beer a day?

I can understand how important it is for your OH to drinks lots but I'd also be concerned about all that artificial sweetener he's consuming as in 'diet' mineral water.
I don't like water either but it doesn't take long to get used to the taste.

I drink a litre of coke daily....I know I shouldn't however I love the taste and fizziness:8}
I do only have one filling and luckily for me, my teeth are very white (natural) not painted on:^O
