Storing cables, gadgets and other electronics.

Where do you store yours???

I have lots of things I use often and want some ideas on how to store them so that they don't get tangled but are easy to access.

at the moment they are spread all over my little dining table and I think it is about time that I reallocate the table to be used for meals...

So I have chargers for phone, battery charger, mini scanner for receipts... my laptop charger, speaker plug...

some will fit on my new little laptop desk but not sure about the other stuff...

Sorry, what rolls? Draped cords stay there once the heaviest part hits the ground. Equal weight, they just stay there.

I have about 20 cup hooks around the edges of my computer desk and everything hangs from then.

I use the screw in type of hooks and the stuff the desk is made from is just perfect for putting the hooks in and then holding firm.

In the bedroom I have a very long curtain rail on one wall for hanging all my scarves, shawls and wraps.

They are always in view so I never have to look for hours to find the right colour or fabric and I am sure martini would be pleased to know that they are resting between wears.

We went through this excercise today after we spent about 3 hours searching for the lead for the drill. We bought a hard lidded plastic tub and a packet of kliplock bags. Now every cable is in its own bag with the brand and use written on the front and stored in the plastic box. Not sure how it will last but it looks good right now.

I have all of that stuff in a basket on my bookshelves next to my desk. Having all those cords hanging around on a rail would drive me bonkers.

Mr Bunnings has great plastic storage containers for large drill bits etc.....they are great for storing cables charges etc in. There is one that has different sized compartments for varing sized bits and pieces. Master 2.8 has several of the smaller containers for his cars

I have lots of cables in those zip lock bags... those are the ones we use less often...

I like the compartment container.. that is a good idea..

I need the cables pretty much out all the time... they get used a lot...

Just about to do the big clean up and shuffle of furniture...

I put in a  few bids on some furniture at our local tender center... I won two of the three items.

Two silky oak chairs I won for $60 the pair... and the other is a four drawer filing cabinet for $35, now that is a bargain as I have been looking for a replacement and new they are over $200 and this one is in perfect condition....

Now I have two good chairs for the table and a place to put all my papers... woot.. time to get organised.
