Once dubbed the world's Super Treasurer Swannie has taken a spectacular Swan dive.
We can but hope that his current rantings are his Swan Song

Swan has no shame, it's an embarrassment to watch him spin & turn trying to blame the high dollar for HIS failures. Gillard & Swan gave the mining companies carte blanche to write their own tax.
The Greens are livid with Labor & are going to try to bring in measures that the mining companies will not agree to.
This is a nightmare for Gillard & Swan in an election year, this is the tax Swan & Gillard agreed to to win govt. this is the mining tax that the mining companies will not agree to change otherwise Gillard & Swan will see a return of the election ads of last time, the ads that so panicked them they gave away the farm.
This is conveniently forgotten by the lab luvvies.
Can they bring the election forward?? there are whole communities waiting with baseball bats ready, half of Sydney are salivating just to get rid of them, they spin & lie to everybody every day & think voters fall for it, swallow it whole, they manufacture diversions to take the heat off themselves.
There has never been such a disgraceful, lying, incompetant govt. in Australias history. They will be in the wilderness for years & they deserve to be.

Wish they would bring it forward...sick to death of it already!

What difference would it make to bring the election forward? If the opposition to get in next time round do you really believe it would make that much difference? An election isn't the issue having politicians that do their job well is. Although like this govt or not our country is well placed in terms of economics amongst the OECD.
I'm voting for the first time this year as a citizen of Australia and its concerning that the options seem dismal at best.

That is due to a legacy fron the previous Government who left a huge surpluse which the current flavour have squandered and also plunged us into a huge debt.

Actually, it's because we went down the stimulus road instead of the austerity one.

LNP left a huge surplus by SHORT SHEETING Infrastructure for 12 years. Now we're seeing just how well that worked with everything needing urgent upgrade eh?
