Superannuation and the incredible shrinking honey pot

So you recently worked some years or months and with super for once - got a very small but useful super fund going

better check quick - i did and i have lost 14% over last 2 or 3 weeks

The Govt via ATO is authorising early discharge ( or whatever the term ) , which means can can withdraw for ones private use

For those with very little in funds - a handy source of extra funding under the current circumstances

Unfortunately we are stymied by Canberra-time , meaning will be accessible not immediately but so9metime mid next month

Wonderful , I ponder , by that time how much will be left ?

Thing is with Super - if you don't keep working - topping it up - it wll disappear on fees & charges.

Too many Uni students have found to their dismay.

It's looking more and more likely that we may need to bury our

money. If the RBA cuts rates to negative interest rate we will be

paying the Banks a fee to mind our money. Woman Sad
