That announcement sure has brought all the LEFT LEANING LABOR LIMPETS out of their caves and onto the forum and they are all salivating and drooling over the forum about the announcement...
9 months of lies and promises that Labor cant pay for coming up. 9 months of more debt, open borders and Gillard LIES...
Just proves how little, actually nil back bone and morals Gillard and Labor have, if she had any honour she would go to an election now and put us all out of misery from her and her party....
Why the nasty name calling?
Do you think that is an indication of your integrity?
It doesn't, it displays a lack of.
Lies, lies, blah, blah. It demonstrates an honesty rather than lies.
It proves she is a leader with direction, not a lack of morals.
Why do you assume we all wish her gone?
There are some good programs that many would like to see in action before she goes.

Guess it takes the focus off the two disasters we currently are experiencing, fires and floods. Oh and lets' not forget Tim's little slip up;-)
Personally I think her glasses look nice, and suit her.
7.5 months of election promises :_|:^O:O:|

If you'd watched the proceedings you would know that this was not a spur of the momenht decision. The indies said they had discussions in the lead up to this announcement. The Press Club Addresses are booked in advance.
I think it's good. At least we won't have the constant distraction of when the election will be.
One thing I have heard enough of today is "it's in the coalition DNA"
has anyone heard mathias Cormann?
He just accused the interviewer of like Julia Gillard :^O:^O
Reporter was asking valid questions.
Cormann was going on about Labor being drunken sailors :^O
It's in our DNA to be better :^O

Heard on the news here in Brisbane that folks who have just finished having their homes flooded are not impressed with Gillard announcing election date. The timing, they seem to think is a bit much, considering.

Those whose homes are flooded are probably not going to be happy about anything atm, nor would we expect them to be.

I can tell you here that people are still flooded out of their homes and they are disgusted that Gillard finds it more important to announce this rather than come and visit us to offer personal support. Word is that she will be visiting tomorrow though... but knowing the dislike of her in this town I doubt there will be much of a meet and greet for the locals..
What I find rather funny is that she didn't even figure to tell her MP's or most of the caucus... apparently it was on a need to know basis and I think that as they are mostly going to be without a job you would think it was a definite need to know the date of your last day in the job...
