Does anyone have this and dogs, and if so how do you remove the smell of dog pee? I've just had my courtyard covered with it ..... yes before I get lectures, lol, I would have preferred real grass but can't handle mowing or weeding with my back. And I just love the look of the grass it's so natural. I thought it would be great for the dogs to play on and they do, but of course they also pee, and the odour isn't noticeable except when the sun shines on it.

It does not absorb animal waste, but is permeable so liquids pass through to the ground. And also if you lay it in an area that's in direct sunlight it does get hot and if you walk on it,it may burn your feet. It lasts for about 25 years and is expensive.
It's already laid and I notice it gets hot, but it looks lovely. Not a large area. I don't think the grass itself was that expensive but the labour was, though it was a lot of work for them with prep. .

I use it to combat mould in the bathroom!
How you going anyway! ?
You got more dogs?
Hi Icy, I've got my Phoebe chi, and I also now mind little dogs at home, so may occasionally have about 3 to 4. That's a lot of weeing, lol. But they love playing on the 'lawn'. When it was first laid i noticed a row of birds sitting on my fence peering intently at it, presumably looking for worms, lol.
