Last night & the nights before I watched TA making total fool of himself speaking at meetings; slowly, painfully uttering each word, while staring at the table (or floor when standing), looking so ill at ease. And the look on faces of the others present, of trying not to look horrified. And when does he learn that badmouthing the previous government is just so gauche!!! And did I see right; Mrs. Abbott parading in Bahrain, which is an Islamic country, in sleeveless dress? But then what else could you expect.
Just a little reminder of TA's past performance. Most revealing 6 minutes of several interviews.

I didn't see Mrs.A in Bahrain, but I did see her in Indonesia in a see-through dress and with uncovered legs. Where are the advisors? Surely it is not very difficult to respect your hosts when you travel.

As long as the skirt is over the knees it is acceptable for Bahrain and Indonesia; both Gillard and Thérèse covered enough. However top of the arms should be covered. Showing of shoulders and wearing tight fitting dresses is considered 'immodest'. The Mrs.Abbott dress that I caught just a glimpse of was bright red sleeveless and I have a feeling as tight as the ones the daughters wore for the campaign.

Put arriving noticeably late to very important events (first session of the APEC leaders meeting) down as one of his faults as well.
Quote from a blog:
Explaining his tardiness to journalists this morning Mr Abbott blamed officials for not alerting him to the start of the meeting.
Yep, I guess that lets Tony of the hook. After all, he’s not well known for being able to fend for himself

The one people should have thought as they came to vote:
“I know politicians are going to be judged on everything they say but sometimes, in the heat of discussion, you go a little bit further than you would if it was an absolutely calm, considered, prepared scripted remark. Which is why the statements that need to be taken absolutely as gospel truth are those carefully prepared scripted remarks.”
