TONY Abbott appears ready to risk an election over the federal budget as he warns Senators to approve deep cuts to spending despite outcries against changes to health and welfare.
The Prime Minister sought to turn the fight over the budget into a decision on “who runs the country” as he put minor parties and independents on notice to back the reforms or risk losing their seats.

Charging old age pensioners to see the doctor is political suicide. Bad move. LNP would have been better off dismantling useless government agencies to save money. Imposing a fee on the elderly is wrong, it is bad policy. I don't think they understand that some elderly pensioners can't afford gas and electricity and go without so they can buy food. Now they want to charge them for visiting the doctor. Bad BAD BAD BAAAADDD policy.
