All`s okay in the east initially we had some heavy rain but atm just  steady light rain..here`s hoping it lasts all night as our poor gardens badly need a good soaking!!its hard to believe that there is an out of control bushfire in our high country,& probarbly this rain won`t get there:-(

It came through here with a big bang but it was short lived. I think we have light drizzle outside now and the wind has completely died down. It looks like Ballarat copped the worst of it & yet we have a large bush fire somewhere as well

I just read that Ballarat had a mini tornado.

At our place ( North Central Vic) we had about 10mins of heavy wind, loud thunder ...no rain.

I hope everyone is OK.

Those fires in the Alpine region are being stirred up by the wind

After reading the warnings I went into a state of

shock, lol, and battened down all the hatches and switched

off electricals but it was ok
