TV Wars

Who decides what to watch in your house, or do you have a TV each?

and one for the kids?

My new bargain TV has all sorts of free kids TV streams available. No fights over that because I select.

Hubby and I have separate tv rooms but we dont use it much this time of the year when there is great telly.

The kids(when  they were young) just watched what we did and now I suppose they still do when they are actually home.

We have 2 foxtel outlets with iq so the kids can record stuff, they still fight like crazy though......and threaten to delete each others shows.

I work around their schedules when enforcing rules, one is at uni and one in high school so the one that has just come home usually gets priority.

I usually start with ABC breakfast and then switch to sky and listen to the news all day. My husband loves history and I get sick of it, but generally we like the same things as long is it is not too much sport.

The days of black and white TVs without remote controls seem so long ago.   😄

It would take some getting used to if they all closed down before midnight like they used to.

I'd find it hard to give control of the remote to someone else  :D:D

Hubby watches TV in the lounge and he bought me a TV for the bedroom, so I can watch what I want to watch.

Hubby likes war things and I am not into those movies, this way I get to choose for me.Woman Happy

Good idea. Now all you have to do is fight over who gets to control the lounge and who gets to control the bedroom TVs  😄

Just kidding!

HAha, the only way to go it seems.

I had to chuckle on hearing a woman say her husband decides what they watch of an evening.  I had to bite my tongue when she said she doesn't touch the remote while he's home or know how to set a program to record.
