Sure, I see your point EMB.

But in a world of bad advertising is good advertising, I think they got their money's worth.

Besides, I like the originality and appeal to the eye or the ad. It's refreshing.

Would it make me buy the product, probably not, but it may stir a curiosity since I may remember it when I buy ice cream next.

Pehaps that is the desired effect. Smiley Wink (I spent time in advertising)

Hiya Jerks. Thanks for that, I did wonder.

We have literally hundreds of different channels here, so I suppose we're spoiled for choice really. You can usually find something decent to view. Yes there's a lot of piffle, but if you dismiss the foodie, reality, celebrity, and property dross, what you have is something near to perfection. BBC have three different channels, ITV four, Channel 5, Freeview and Freestat both with a myriad of channels. There is also SKY, but that is by monthly subscription, and if you take out all of their packages, your monthly bill is tantamount to a small mortgage. There are also many more independent channels, but depending where in the country you are, you will not be able access many of them. I think, but not sure on this, that if you have SKY then your SKY dish may pull a lot of these in for you.

We have to pay £145.50 p.a. to aunty BBC....whether we watch it or not ! People over 75 years of age, are exempt.
