Kmart has a similar offer.
So we ordered a few things totalling $46.
We thought the order would be filled at a warehouse. It wasn't.
We received the order in 4 separate parcels from 4 different stores throughout NSW (Armidale, Nowra, Tuggeranong and Castle Hill). Even with Australia Post discounts the delivery must have cost them a fair bit.
I think they are happy to just keep a cash flow going - even at a loss for a time

i gave up after 45 minutes
just visited targets facebook page
lots of very unhappy posters
one waited an hour and a half on hold before the line went dead
not the way to stay in business
minimally a recorded message saying 'we cant answer calls now'
or something!
