Tattoo design -- help?

I am wanting to get a tattoo for very personal reasons.  In short, I have a very ill son who is a fighting a very strong battle and all going well will lead a long and productive life.  I want to get a tattoo to symbolise his bravery, in the design of a word.  I was thinking maybe the word  "believe" on my wrist, but would love some other ideas too.   I don't think I'm really into getting names tattooed and I don't want anything huge or decorative, just something small and understated.  TIA 🙂

For some reason the little bird grabs me, sort of 'flying free and hopeful'

Believe with the b in a heart shape, on it's side to be the B

If you get one, it is just as important to research the tattoo artist.

make sure they are licensed if your council requires it

see examples of their work

it will be difficult to remove if it is not what you want

As for the design, is there something meaningful for both you and your son?

like a little private bond?

something you like to do, or see...a special word...you know what I mean.
