the pics i saw had all of the animals positioned this way, so i presumed they had been tranquilised instead.

I think the pose was to fit in his neck.

Also, I doubt the victim was an adult animal.

It sickens me beyond belief..

Words fail me.   How any adult do this, let alone involve their family and glorify the act with posed pictures, is beyond belief.
