they both worked for about 20 years here and paid there due tax

they died before geting to pension age (that they would have earned as being tax payers for 20+ years)

and i dont think they had child endowment back then (?) when i was a child 

they didnt get any discounts on anything

It's insulting that you have to be questioned as to what your parents did or did not receive.

well like i said i  dont think they did but can't argue the toss because im not sure

but one thing im sure of is that if they did it would have been a pittence to what they paid in tax!! 

dad worked 6 days a week EVERY week so i think it would have been well covered
