Hey Joz. I'd like to get a boat too, but like they say.....boat stands for "Break Out Another Thousand$".

How would you like to bump into this diving....(I think it's a Goblin shark)...

LOL - he's a NOOB - he figures I know how to gut an clean em, so why does he need to do it LOL (and he's squirmish wub.gif)

He seems to be enjoying the boat and I am enjoying the fresh fish.

hes got you well trained & hes got it made lol

but i find it pretty easy enough, a very sharp flexible knife is needed, just fillet and skin (skinnig depends on the fish and the dish), done!

I'm trying to convince him to get his diver's licence too, but he's not real keen on that.

you mean to say he has never had a drivers licence? i do know of people like that and others have completely given driving away, more economical for them to use public transport

Why ya only thinkin' about it joz? Might as well do it before you're dead.

its to do with my driveway - reversing in from a busy street.

I would have to drive straight in, un-hitch.. push it around next to the garage on my own & im not sure if theyre light weight enough to maneuver on my own. (ponders

LOl Joz - D I V I N G licence - as in SCUBA - I used to Dive, but my license expired, wanting to get back into it again tho.

LOL at reversing the boat.... lets just say that the OH is still practising.... He can't reverse a trailer for nuts! He's hopeless with the jetski and rubbish trailers, zig zags all over the place! I reckon it'd be kinda fun to go down to the boat ramp and point an laff watch him get the boat in the water.

Lucky at home he can just drive straight in and do a circle. The shed's double entry, so he just drives in the bottom gate, stops by to wash it down and run the motors etc then just drives it straight in one side of the shed ready to drive out the other side and through the top gate next time.

Reckon it'd be hard on a busy street, I don't blame you for being wary, but I reckon after a few goes you'd be OK, I mean if you can back it down the boat ramp without too much trouble you've gotta be half way there, don't you? Otherwise can you moor it at the marina or something? That way you only have to get it out when it needs antifouling.

I dunno, I reckon a mans gotta have a boat if he wants one. No point in getting old and looking back and wishing you had have done it iykwim.
