The Mistress Speaks

This was on the WSFM Breakfast Show reaction line this morning. Toni McHugh was dolled up for a photo shoot - and gave a lengthy interview in which she denied having any influence over Baden-Clay's decision to kill his wife Alison. So, are you interested in her story, or should she just shut up? I agree with Amanda I'm disappointed in Womens Weekly for running that story I think Allison shoud rest in peace now and her family get some closure and move on.

Never ever heard of 60 minutes paying any one $200,000, usually it is $20,000 or less.

She is not that famous.

Don't tell TM that she will be devastated.

Chequebook stories (these figures are not definitive)

$250,000 In 1986 Lindy Chamberlain talks to 60 Minutes about her daughter Azaria being taken by a dingo.

$200,000 Bob Hawke and Blanche D'Alpuget grant interviews with 60 Minutes, in a 1995 deal engineered by chequebook journalism mastermind Max Markson.

$200,000 In 2005 Mamdouh Habib gave 60 Minutes an interview following three years held in captivity as a terrorist suspect by the US.

$100,000 James "the Iceman" Scott spoke to 60 Minutes about his 43-days stranded in the Himalayas in 1992.

T gets away lightly really, she can be found drinking cocktails in Noosa, A is dead, G is in Jail ( where he belongs), three young girls lost their mother and their father in jail for her murder.

Given that she comitted NO crime, what would you like to see happen to her?

As I have already specified, for her to keep out of the news and get on with her life. I have never said she has committed a crime.

She has a job,

She also had $100 000 from the sale of her property

Add one interview with 60 Minutes - $200 000 thats enough.

That's enough? No it's not.

300 grand is a piffling amount of money. It wouldn't even buy a manky 2 bed townhouse or even a decent studio.

He wasn't a wife killer when she was sleeping with him. Back then he was just a lying sleazebag. The wife killer bit came later.

Yes. Sadly true. Gullible. However, also inherently human.

It's true that when a narcissist wants something or someone he/she will do almost anything to get what they want.

Toni was not the first woman to be sucked in and used up by a narcissist and she won't be the last.  Allison was also gullible enough to believe him and trust him.

Actually, I think she is doing a public service............... it might show some other women that what they are doing with someone else's husband, might have a similar end.

Just watched a show on Ch 7 - wife arranged for her husband to be killed with a knife (from their kitchen drawer), by her secret lover. The husband survived the very brutal stabbings (wife stoodby watching). He loved her very much, is very wealthy, showered her with everything she ever wanted. Her family have turned on of their children against their father (saying the father staged his own murder) and the other 2 (twins) live with the father.

So, one would expect as a benefit from being someones mistress and when  things go very, very wrong, to be able to given enough cash to buy a nicehouse?, Simply because they were a mistress?

He was a convicted wife killer when I wrote that.

No, not inherently human. Only certain type of people (gullible, not a lot of self-confidence) would get suckered into staying that long (4 years nearly) as a mistress... with no benefits (couldn't she see he only wanted her for sex?).. no nights in a swanky hotel, no presents, no trips away.. only stolen moments in the back of the car, or in the wife's house, or in the mistresses house, time snatched late in the evening, week nights only, in the weeks when her boys were at their fathers (hopefully).

Gosh she got dumped quickity smart when A found out about the affair.. T told to get out of the office, no job, just leave now... what does she do a few months down the  track... takes the fool back.
