Not a good night - our doggie Zac has been sick. He is asleep now but will take him to the Vet if he is still not well when he wakes up.
We have a funeral tomorrow (Sat). The wife of a good friend OD'd, leaving 3 children 19 and 12 yo twins. The father has asked that a token gift be given to the children to lift their spirits. Any ideas would be great.
Possible Vet today.. then shops.

Totally agree with photo idea, you may have one that they have never seen...perhaps a bottle of her favourite perfume would be a nice idea as well or even a CD which she particularly liked, having lost a Son, all these things...the smell & sounds bring back such wonderful, happy times.
Sammee you can get small pins at the newsagents, they have angels, butterflies, heaps of different ones, as a keepsake to remind them of their Mum. They can wear it, or, just keep it.
Forgot about those lovely little things linda; my O/H bought me a ring with the letter "J" on it, Son's first name was Justin...that ring has never been off my finger.
Really looking forward to tomorrow, darling Daughter, absolutely gorgeous Grand-daughter & Son-in-Law (who we don't mention too often, cause he's such an idiot) are coming for the weekend...it's going to be sooo wonderful.
Thank you so much for the ideas and also for the good vibes for my sick doggie. Took him to the Vet. She did an overhaul and gave him an injection then she decided that at 10 our Zac should have his testes removed and his teeth cleaned for the grand sum of $660.00! His teeth are fine by the way, had them checked last year and his testes are fine too thank you very much.
She thinks his vomiting may have been caused by infections in both ears. Poodles are very prone to ear infections. I can usually pick when he has problems with his ears but I completely missed it this time. He hasn't been sick since 1pm woohooooo.
omg I've got to race home, strip the bed, wash 2 sets of bedding ready to hang tomorrow, and cook dinner to be ready to sit down by the time collectors comes on. ๐
