just back from lunch with my niece. We went to Maling Rd, one of my fave spots..

She has developed an American accent since I last saw her  😮

she says things like 'sidewalk" & "cellphone"

Lol Deb at your niece speaking with an american accent... when my little sister came home from England after 4 years study, we'd all cringe at her saying; Ya knowwat eoi meeeeen!:^O

Plus she hoovers the floor to this day...WT!

why I thought it odd that she's speaking with an American accent is because she teaches English over there, but she explained that she has to teach "American English"  😮

I know lol  she's teaching "American" English to Japanese business people so they can read their company emails
