Good morning nosies :-x.

Thank goodness it's a bit cooler today and no humidity.

Yesterday was party day for our one and only grandchild.  He was 6 (and just getting a bit cheeky grrr).  Started at the indoor play centre and 11.30 then because his mum works Wed afternoons, him and 2 kids came back to our unit.  We kept them amused outside in the small pool until they went home around 4.30 then we took him home at 6 for a family dinner.  We were wiped out by ther time we got home - getting too old for 6 year olds!  Cake turned out OK.

I bought myself a kindle on Tuesday and haven't had much time to play with it so off to check it out.

yes it's nice & much cooler today, everyone can finally catch up on sleep now.

Glad you survived yesterday OK. I don't know much about kindles, but I'm sure you'll have fun with it

wow what a difference a better nights sleep can make:-D Got stuck into the housework first thing this morning, only the floors to do now and so easy when the others are not home:-p The girls will be here again on Sunday until school resumes so no time for cleaning then lol We have decided that the movies is not a go this time at $45 for 2 kiddies and 1 concession!

Kindles are great! We put in together and bought my oldest daughter one 13 months ago...she loves it especially on the train and in bed.She has a hot pink cover for it now;\...yep she's still a pink girl at nearly 32

Floors :-(.  I have managed to tidy up everything else and put the washing on but need to do the floors.  OH is the vaccuumer of this house and he is at table tennis so thinking I will get him to vaccuum the tiles as well then I will mop.  Very lazy today.

Hi Everybuddy 🙂

Well I farewelled my girls at Sydney airport this morning and came home to my empty flat which had up to yesterday been full of suitcases on the floor, hairbrushes and wet towels in the bathroom, and shopping bags all over the floor.

We had such a good time!

The Sydney Aquarium and Darling Harbour.  The DFO and lots of shopping. Taronga Zoo and the little tiger cubs.Ferry riding around the harbour goggling at the big cruise ships at Circular Quay.

Getting caught trying to get home in peak hour traffic.

The Botanical Gardens and the Opera House. Lunch with the Aunties and taking lots of pics. May Gibbs and Nutcote and cooling our feet in the water at Neutral Bay wharf while waiting for the ferry.

Cooling off at the end of the day with a swim in the McCallum rock pool at Cremorne Point.

Will post some pic as soon as they're developed, 🙂

Apparently they had a five hour delay at Brisbane in getting back to Mackay 😞

Missed all you Noseys and looking forward to getting back in the groove!
