I am gradually getting used to this forum now that I go to the last post - just as long as the dots are working. I tried dragging a pic from my picture folder and that worked.
Been a nice day down here in the Latrobe Valley. I washed both the dogs and their bedding - it all smnelt very "doggie" from their time in the kennels. One has wool and never smells but they must have been let play with the other dogs. They have nearly slept the 2 days they've been home!
Off to visit a friend who is not too well. She has a rare blood disease. Her dad died at 48 from the same disease froma brain haemorrhage. They didn't think my friend would live past that age - she is 58 now and they have just found a weak spot in her brain and 2 on the lungs. She was to see a neuro surgeon last week while we were away though she had decided not to have the op as they warned her she could end up a vegetable.

I am going to do a few Christmas preparations today. Haven't thought about Christmas because of our holiday so might put the Christmas tree up - wouldn't bother except for the grandson. I bought a small coffee table size tree as we haven't got much room in our unit. I also need to do my cards. We have received about 6 so time to do them.

We have wonderful rain here so hopefully the lawns will green up and the gardens will look loved again for Christmas.
Our water tank's been empty for months so we needed to save using metered water to top the pool as occasionally... meh!
