No need anyway to discuss equality, in a range of areas females aren't suitable or capable due to a number of factors, and i often wonder why they want it anyway. On the other hand on one criteria, if they were built like males, a different story.

Shooting has to be the last resort, and if a shot is fired it should be effective in stopping a threat and as safe as possible for innocent bystanders or hostages

I agree Tezza, they would be uncoordinated disoriented and hell bent on mayhem to any one and everyone.

They have to be subdued with any means possible as fast as possible before they inflict injury on someone else or themselves.

Taser is much less lethal than a bullet.

Didn't take long for someone to call this a "police-bashing" thread.

Less than 24 hours ago, in a similar thread, it turned into a victim-bashing thread, with the "famous five" participating.

In Queensland, police seem to be physically fit when they are recruited, and then the majority pile on the weight (free junk food).  They then are not capable of chasing anybody even for a short distance.

I don't understand why this problem is not addressed.  It is in the MFB isn't it?  I don't recall seeing one of them overweight.

Women on the ground in front line combat??? that's what Labor brought in. The inept  Stephen Smith (whom the defence forces despised)  fell for the misogyny mantra and Labor put it through.   God help them if the muslim terrorists ever got their hands on them, death would be a release.
